Mistral Large - an new interesting Competitor to GPT-4

🚀 Yesterday I did some tests with the new model from Mistral.

It is called Mistral Large and is a competitor to GPT-4 from OpenAI.

It's a bit cheaper to use and is of course also available via an API.
In my opinion, it is really interesting.

It can even create basic lines of code and is very good at making logical decisions.
It can analyze code and generate short, precise answers.

The output format wasn't quite as perfect as GPT-4, but it's definitely an interesting contender and we'll see what it's good for in the long run.

🚀 Gestern habe ich einige Tests mit dem neuen Modell von Mistral gemacht. Es heißt Mistral Large und ist ein Konkurrent zu GPT-4 von OpenAI. Es ist etwas günstiger in der Nutzung und natürlich auch über eine API verfügbar. Meiner Meinung nach ist es wirklich interessant. Es kann sogar grundlegende Codezeilen erstellen und ist sehr gut darin, logische Entscheidungen zu treffen. Es kann Code analysieren und kurze, präzise Antworten generieren. Das Output-Format war nicht ganz so perfekt wie bei GPT-4, aber es ist definitiv ein interessanter Konkurrent und wir werden sehen, wofür es auf lange Sicht gut ist. Ich kann es auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

PS: Anders als bei GPT-4, wo man $20 pro Monat zahlt, bezahlt man hier pro Nutzung. Wenn man es also nicht viel nutzt, zahlt man nur ein paar Cent. Das ist ein weiteres interessantes Thema, das einen Unterschied zwischen GPT-4 und Mistral ausmacht.
