You have a new Compiler and all you need for your Luck is a Linker that you can freely distribute with your compiler?

Take this one, its my contribution to the community.

Its not as fast as other Linkers, but its totally free. You can just use it.

Yes why not. I did not search for these.
For me it does not matter.

but what are features of this new Linker

Ask Jürgen, he tested it with his new Compiler and from what i heared it should have all needed features and he says it works. While he says from Speed its not as fast as those other products. Which is really possible for that its Release 1.

It has only x64 only, no ARM, and no x32 (while i may have another one for x32 - says my AI-Agent - together with the x32 Compiler-Project which is a split out from the other and is surprisingly far, compared to when i started with it).

And it can .res and obj something, i do not know the details.
I am not a Linker expert. Jürgen knows much more about these topics. He did the testing.
I read in the forums that he needs an Linker and because i had one i asked him ... thats the story.

He also has the Source-Code in PB. So he can speed it up if he wants.

He told me about that "Freelinker Project" that
Quotedieser Linker ist fast 68 MB groß, polink hat 197 KB und macht dasselbe ...

so in doubt he would use POLINK anyway not that 68 MB (likely .NET) Monster.
My version is 368 kb that inccludes the Icon which has 261 kb ...

Hi Theo

aside this Linker topic...
may i ask you ...about AI agents ?
you have experience with them
I currently tried and use only two Z.ai and DeepAI
let say that z.ai is better
both of them don't need login to ask question
for code generation and programming issues seems fine
so according to you
which else ..similar are good to use ?
tnx

@Zlatko Vid
I have never kept any secret here. You can read my posts here and try that.
After that watch my videos.

If you want to go for free, use LM-Studio and Qwen 3.5 and my MCP-Server.
If you can invest a monthly rate to get things faster - get a Kimi K2.5 Subscription
and use if together with VS-Code

If you want maximum Speed at all cost, try Codex from OpenAI and/or Claude Code.

HI Aurel,

I made this SindByte Local MCP-Server for people like you so you are not dependend on costly cloud services to start using real KI. And of course NO Login required.
The size of the Server Program is roughly 2 Floppy discs, below 2 MB.

You can just download LM-Studio for free and choose an Qwen 3.5 Model that fits to your VRAM Situation.
Or use GPT-OSS 20b. When starting just let it work  for you!

Then carefully watch the videos.

Later when you are mor experienced, it might make sense for you to change tool-configuration,
using the editor to just (mainly) use Filetools and Systemtools and Memorytools (and even there use only the essential tool).

Then change the Registration mode from "Short" in to Full Mode in "Settings".
This will speed up processing for you.

Use it like in the video, tell it where your source-code is, eventually give it a project.md file where you have project description and some hints for Powerbasic.
Then just tell it what to do and let it go.

Check the results and optimize your Projects.md and let it start from new (depending on your VRAM)
read the new, updated instructions and let it go on.

Keep me update how it works.
