Thie "paid spokesman for the nuclear industry, the logging industry, and genetic engineering industry" was not a co-founder of Greenpeace.

More political than I anticipated. I was more interested in what he had to say about CO2 levels/climate in geological time.

When you see someone making a valid scientific argument and their reputation is diminished in this way, without producing proper counter-arguments. That indicates that politics is at play.
