We will discuss a new 32/64 bit compiler tool chain here. Almost two years ago i began writing a new BASIC for 32 and 64 bit executables. The final goal is having a BASIC compiler, which can produce standard Windows executables (.exe, .dll ans .lib), which are compatible to other langages like C. The same source code may be compiled to a 32 and a 64 bit executable. Procedural programming, objects and COM will be supported in it´s final stage.

The syntax will be PowerBASIC compatible with some minor exceptions, yet not each and every feature of PowerBASIC will be available. But there will be other and new features (e.g a GPF tracker).

Currently it´s at an early stage, the core functionality is available must be thoroughly tested before going any further and adding more features.
